Our story The Cliff
Colțul Mic kept women and children
of the valley safe in wartime.
The quiet here is still that kind: protective.
Above the valley— a private village, exclusively yours.
Colțul Mic kept women and children
of the valley safe in wartime.
The quiet here is still that kind: protective.
Alina and Cosmin came for the mountains: the snow in winter, the trails in summer, Peleș and Bran castles and the Bucegi all within reach, and Bucharest itself only an hour off.
They found everything but a place to stay that matched it. So they built their own.
Comarnic sits at the centre of everything the Prahova Valley is famous for, and far enough from the city to feel like another world.
Close enough to reach after work, remote enough that the noise falls away on the drive up. The best of both: a mountain village you can be standing in ninety minutes after leaving your desk.
Ten houses beneath the rock, built by Alina and Cosmin the way they’d build their own home. Local hands, local timber, and a clear, modern eye with rooms full of light, glass that pulls the mountain inside, and nothing cluttering the view.
A private sauna and ciubăr at every door, and each named for the mountain places they’ve loved—Zakopane, Davos, Poon Hill. One well-travelled village within a single quiet valley.
Families, couples, friends, teams.
Here to explore, gather, think,
or do nothing at all.
The village holds all of it.
